The flight path is right over our house.....and every evening there is a one little bugger that can't quite catch up. He's at the end of the "V". He quacks and hollers...but all the other seasoned geese just ignore him. Sometimes it looks like they are trying to ditch him. Then they fly in a different pattern to get into the lakes in the next block.... and he doesn't get it....then he flys around looking for them. HEHAW HEHAW...he is screaming...looking for his team mates.
Sometimes I want to reach up to him and wring his stupid neck...and say...go left you asshole.....but I let nature take it course. I'm cool with that.

You know there always has to be at least "one". Ha! Zach and I were looking at a birds of Arkansas book the other evening and I was telling him about your grief with the geese up there.
For some reason, the geese around here are still flying north! I think they are just looking for another lake--we have a lot near here. I always worry about that last goose and if he is going to make it all the way south.
