My Mom's

Christmas cactus bloomed on Christmas day. I have had it since 1999 and it bloomed ... maybe twice and not on Christmas day. And it only had one bloom. Asshole plant.

This year I had THREE blooms. Obviously I am not doing something right, but 3 blooms are better than none.

Those can be very hard to grow and flower.. let it spend the summer outside in the shade, and bring it in before the first frost. It might reward you for that!

Yours is very pretty. I'm having good luck with one lately. I keep it in a bedroom where it gets filtered sunlight, water it once a week and ignore it unless it blooms!

I leave mine outside all summer - on a covered porch. I bring them in before the first frost and they bloom like crazy in November. The best thng to do is ignore them and water them only when you remember to or their leaves look thin.Congrats on your blooms!
