I wish I could peel my skin off

I need some rejuvenation.  It's a typical mid winter reaction I know. I keep on wanting to see the future and know it will be there when I get there.  The house, health, finances...you name it. It weighs heavily on me.

I didn't really need the door locks on my truck to seize up again at the grocery store when it was 40 below. (It usually isn't 40 below) but I use that as a guideline here in Canada.  At least this time I didn't have to enter it from the rear overhead door and slide around like a big fat whale out of water to get to the front of the truck.  This time I only had to get into the passenger seat and try to slide over the stick shift into the drivers seat.  Well that's the last you will see of my vagina.

She broke.

Like so many other parts of this 65 year old body I will have to kiss her goodbye...if I could reach her.

I pissed my brother in law off yesterday when he was over. Yeah that was fun.  We got into an argument about ... of all things... the meaning of LOL.  This is a no brainer to me, I have been online for a million years...I invented it....seriously..heh... He said it meant Lot's of Love....are you kidding me?  Then he went into great lengths on his fancy I Phone to challenge me.  He googled it...and I guess somewhere in the "olden days" someone said LOL was used to mean "Lots of Love."  That would be akin to when I was a kid and wrote letters to my cousins in the big city... and followed up with ...

"Yours till I.D.K.

Fudge.......

Balonie Land is barren...nobody understands me.

I'm worried about my Penny too.  She has a Lipoma on her shoulder.  She has had it for for about 3 years but this year it has grown a lot.  It's just a bag of fat. And it not dangerous, but yet it is very unattractive. She doesn't even know it's there.  But I do.  Some vet's will try to do liposuction...others will do surgery...most say leave it alone because even after a procedure it will come back.  So, I checked out a lot of web sites today and from the information I got I will be changing her diet because just after the fall I changed some of her dog food....and it really started to get big.  No more dog food bought from the dog food store.... I will make it myself. Let's see if it doesn't get any bigger.

Cooking for three now!

I have a meat loaf beckoning me.  Slathered in Golden Mushroom soup, wth mashed potatoes along with carrots and peas.  Perfect for a long winters nap.

Oh yeah...I forgot to tell you guys... I made Cherry Jello the other day... First time ever that I can remember. I put bananas and fruit cocktail in it as my ancestors did. It's still fun to touch. Still tastes a little like an eraser with kool aid seasoning. Cool Whip took the edge off of it.

Balonie bids you a happy day.....so be careful.

I know your winters are long. It's the new house, now Penny, etc, the list goes on and on. I know... I know.. You have to want to meet some of your US friends. I would love to meet you. You are a hoot. Now tell me that Sally, Donna, Brenda and a few others wouldn't want to meet you ?!?! I know this sounds way out, but you should plan to come to see one of them. How much fun would that be ?!?! It would give you something to plan, something to look forward to. I know you are planning your new home, but you kind of seem like WTF mode right now.

Have some of your friends over, have a 'play' night. Play a game or something. Bring on the wine and the food. I think you have a fireplace. Bring on the wood, food, wine, get it going on.

You know that I love to spoil myself. Do something just for YOU !! Screw what everybody else thinks.

Just spend sometime with Penny. She will be fine. I had a thing she has removed from my arm. Thank goodness it hasn't come back. We have so much fun with Pedro.

Get a good book, bury yourself in it. Go naked for a day and don't get dressed !! LOL

I know you didn't ask me to recommend anything for you. But, you sound like you need a change in your life, something different. The weather sucks, the days are long, dark and gloomy.

Okay, I am leaving. Enjoy your dinner !! :)

I can just see you crawling into your truck! Wonderful! Tucker has a huge thing like that too. Vet says to leave it be. Weird.

I LOVED the comment about the red jello with bananas. Had to chuckle. That's certainly a staple in my neck of the woods. I don't know where you live, but it certainly sounds like it can't be far from where I reside.....COLD and lots of SNOW with short days.

Love your new header! We're having some of that white stuff that y'all invented up there and send down here to us with the Southern constitutions to stir things up every so often. It be shivering my timbers!

Supper sounds great!

You're gonna be fine. But, IF you find a way peel your skin off, tell me. My face is a road nap full of wrinkles!!! :)

Sally said...

"road NAP" lol I'm going to bed now. :)

Your winters are brutal, that's for sure! I had to laugh about your skin. I could use my heels for heavy-duty sandpaper! Gosh, I really hate how flaky skin gets in the winter months.

We like having our jello now and then because it's good diet food! You know it's for dieting because it doesn't taste like chocolate cake! And tell your brother than LOL is laugh out loud. Geesh...

Leave Penny's lump alone--Tootz has had one on her left shoulder for 5 years--no big deal, our vet says. The surgery to get it off could be harmful--the anesthetic for an older dog. I too need a rejuvenation--I need to quit smoking--stopped for 5 days last week--it made me so depressed I went out and bought some cigarettes. I feel much better now.

Wow...I know I'm late....been lots going on here and I've been busy pulling my hair out and screaming...Hahaa...
It doesn't look like you need any more advice either...SO, I'll just shut up....except to say, thank you for your sweet comments Miz Joan...They Always "hit the right spot"......((hugs))

I would just be stuck. There's no crawling over anything. The knees, even new, would kill me - not to mention the fact that if I got on the knees, the titanium knee would crush the kneecap. The rest of the muscles would cramp up like you wouldn't believe! I admire you (not only for your ability to crawl into your truck!)

You know...you guys are the best. Seriously. Most times I write my blog just before or after supper...and save looking at your comments the next day at the same time. Just something I do. It's like a present you look forward to. This was certainly a nice present.

Dawn...thanks for all the advise and I will take you up on some of it. My mojo and vagina seem to have gone north. But I know where North is...and I'm turning around and going south. Starting today...thanks so much. You are a good friend.

Poolie....thank you for that...I thought I was the only person in the world that had a dog with piece of crap growing out of her shoulder...even tho I was told what it was. People get it too, my mom had one on her back. I am changing her diet...lets see if I can get it to calm down. Something to do with the liver blah blah blah is all I could hear from the vet and then I went deaf on purpose. No intervention needed. Only on my part ... Haaaa

Lena hello...Nice to see you. I live in Winnipeg Manitoba. My hometown is Altona Manitoba the Sunflower and Jello capitol of Canada....and yes it's damn cold here. It is also getting on my last nerve. Just waiting to unclench my shoulders everytime I walk outside. Let's not even talk about my dog who pisses on the deck when it's this cold.

Brenda...yeah..we invented it...ha ha....get used to it. and get some Long John's.

Sally...

Your face looks just fine...I would just like to see more of it.
For some reason when someone takes a picture of me...it look like I just had a stroke.

Donna...I'm going to try more Jello. I'm just starting my new jello experience. I loved the pictures on your blog of your cottage. I hope to have something very similar. I just can't believe all the wildlife out there. Last week the deer were just saundering past my front window. Unreal.

Jude...Again thanks for not letting me freak about Penny's lump. Although I know better, it's always good to know that others have been through this.

And Donna from Texas...I know how busy you have been. Now you take care of yourself. I'm keeping an eye on you. You are such a good friend. Counting my blessings.

Grandma K...I'm lucky that I am limber. My husband is not. I understand all the aches and pains that age gives us. I hear him grunt and groan at night when he turns over...and am so sad.

Thank you every one who commented yesterday...I am blessed.
