I am making a huge post about selling our house with pictures of each room as I get them cleaned up for resale.....and sometimes it makes me sad. I will just put it on the back burner until I get it all done and get back to the day to day stuff.

I think I know what you mean about being sad...I would be sad to leave all my memories behind. We've liived in this house since 1974.
Too old to leave it now...
BUT! Think about the New and wonderful house you get to plan for! I'm excited for you sweetie!!!

I can only imagine how you feel, Joan; we never actually lived in one house long enough for it to hurt when we left. But, like Donna said, you're gonna LOVE your new house!! :)
I understand! There are so many memories and it is hard to close that chapter. I even broke down and cried while doing Christmas decorating this year at our new home because I missed so many nice things at our former home. It takes a while to say goodbye to the old place and embrace the new place!
I had to leave the house I had lived in for over 25 years. What made it even sadder was, it had been my grandmother's home so I grew up in that house. I gave it to my oldest daughter so I can still go back to visit, but--I have never felt at home in any other place I have lived--before or since. I know what you are feeling, Joanie.
