In the last month, I have had 5 bloggers pack it in for one reason or another. What's up? I don't have all of them on my links, but I know how it feels when life gets overwhelming and you just don't want to share your trials and tribulations with anyone....and bury you head in the sand. I am half way in between that. I'm still blogging, but I feel I hold back more than I used to. I can't seem to get my shit happening. My words appear stunted to me after I read them, instead of flowing...to careful..to cautious... very unlike the ole days when I used to "let er rip."
I can't wait to get there again.

You do 'great blogging'! But I know what you mean about things not flowing like they used to. I catch myself censoring what I write when used to had a feeling of freedom to be me. I had a really bad experience online and one form it took was a few people in a Group twisting the meaning of what I wrote. After all of that I lost that sense of freedom.
Since then i've started a couple of bloggs but ended up just saying to hell with it and deleting them. Time has passed and this time I hope to get some of that free flowing feel I used to enjoy. Hanging in there. You've got a great place to visit!
I do a lot of censoring now that I didn't do in the beginning cause some of my family reads my blog. I reckon I'll keep on pluggin on and I hope you will too. You give me a smile with every post.
You do a great job in your weblog Joan. Don't be too careful.. too cautious.. Write in the third person, the story is the same, but the persons are different :-)
Hi Joan- I decided I'd consciously try to avoid talking about religion and politics. I have close friends and family with really different beliefs than me. If I "go there" I'll end up offending someone. That leaves everything else under the sun to ponder, so it's okay. I like visiting your blog. Just write about whatever's on your mind. We will save Civilization with our wisdom ;-)

Hi! New to your blog and I agree about SO many bloggers I started out reading are packing it in for one reason or another! If your tired, post once a week or so, but quit? Oh well, I've only been at it since July of this year, so maybe in a few years, I to, will give it up. Nah......Have a good one!
